I got this last night and it really knocked me out — he hit on something I knew was off but really couldn’t put my finger on….(I will reply more in the comments — doing this in reverse!) — Dude, who are you?
“Here’s my advice: be wary of the story you tell yourself. I think you might be experiencing conflicting motivations, and that’s where you’ve gotten into trouble.
On the one hand, you are looking for a nice woman to settle down with, perhaps a soul mate.
On the other hand, you find yourself in these situations where the women act crazy / bizarre / unfair towards you and you write them up in the blog.
These misadventures make great and tantalizing tales, but they reinforce your myth about how you expect to be treated by the the opposite sex.
They become self-fulfilling prophesies.
However, once you change your story, women will begin to treat you differently;
you will no longer be searching for familiar patterns.
So I ask you what is more important: your story, or your happiness?”
